Max is a Research Assistant with Rainbows of Aging. He is passionate about addressing health disparities that disproportionately burden LGBTQIA+ older adults. His research interests include mental health and wellbeing, cognitive impairment, physical activity, transportation, and the built environment. Max holds a BS in Public Health from the University of Nevada - Las Vegas and is currently pursuing his Master of Public at UNLV with a concentration in Social and Behavioral Health.

About Rainbows of Aging

Rainbows of Aging is a research team led by Dr. Jason Flatt, MPH, PhD at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Our mission is to ensure inclusion of LGBTQIA+ older adults (50+) in research. We specifically focus on brain health, Alzheimer’s Disease, Parkinson’s and the experiences of caregivers. Our studies typically include a listening session where we seek to understand your lived experiences to better focus future efforts and resources in ways that will promote equitable access and healthy aging among the community.
